Our Story
Mapo Coffee Solutions was founded by Marco Potenzano, a coffee professional with nearly 15 years of experience across different areas of the coffee business.
After moving from Italy to London in 2009, Marco began his career as a barista, before progressing into coffee machine engineering and barista training.
Over the years, he developed a broad understanding of the business, working across different roles and eventually progressing into a Service Manager position.
Working closely with customers every day, managing service requirements and supporting businesses through breakdowns and other challenges showed him how important good communication, reliability and customer care are to delivering a successful service. These different roles have given Marco a true 360-degree view of the coffee business, shaping the way Mapo Coffee Solutions approaches its work today.
Having the most expensive equipment does not necessarily mean making the best coffee. It is about having the right combination of well-maintained and calibrated equipment, good coffee and properly trained people working together.
That is where Mapo Coffee Solutions can make a difference —by helping businesses maintaining and calibrating their machines, and train their staff to get the best from their equipment.
